# Reply handling

> How Harp wakes your Claude when a prospect replies, so email replies are answered within minutes and LinkedIn replies wait for your go-ahead in Slack.

When a prospect replies, Harp wakes your Claude to deal with it within minutes during your working hours. You set the working hours per workspace.

## Email replies

Claude handles email replies end to end:

* answers questions from the product facts you give it
* books meetings
* handles redirects to a colleague
* pauses, resumes or stops the sequence

Claude replies in the prospect's own thread, from the mailbox that received the reply. Harp fixes the recipient, thread and mailbox, so Claude cannot send a reply anywhere else. If Claude cannot answer from your product facts, it offers a short call instead of guessing.

## LinkedIn replies

Claude drafts the reply, and Harp asks you in Slack for a yes before anything is sent. Once you say yes, Harp's Mac agent sends it through the [LinkedIn safety engine](https://docs.harpgtm.com/guides/linkedin-automation.md).

## Sequences stop automatically

A reply, bounce or unsubscribe stops that person's sequence right away, before Claude even reads the reply.

## Setup

The Harp team sets this up with you during onboarding:

1. Connect the mailbox you send from.
2. Connect Slack and choose the channel for LinkedIn go-aheads.
3. Create the Claude routine that Harp wakes, and paste its trigger URL into **Settings > Integrations > Reply loop**.
